King Pawn is a metaphor for the struggle of the individual in a repressed society. The story follows the growing awareness of one Pawn and his inability to exist in his surroundings.
King Pawn won the Dom Kino Award (House of Cinema) for best cinematic film and was screened at the Galway, LA Shorts, Potugese and Darklight film festivals. It was written and directed by Trevor Courtney.
